Self-hosted group conversation

Think out loud, together.

You should not need a finished thought before you enter the conversation. Pipoca gives small groups a place to find the words, shape the idea, and decide what to do together.

See how self-hosting works

Every workspace we have rented got sold, repriced, or shut down. I want ours to stay ours.

That is what the single self-hosted image is for. You run Pipoca on your own infrastructure, and your group writes its own rules.

Nobody else gets a vote.

And it stays free to run. Support is a subscription; if it lapses, your instance keeps working.

Tag things as we go and the useful parts stay findable after the thread ends.

No assistant unless we bring one ourselves.

Crash Override, Acid Burn, Cereal Killer, Lord Nikon, and Phantom Phreak are demonstration characters, not real accounts.

01 / WHAT IT IS

Sometimes we speak in order to think.

Ideas begin as questions, hunches, and half-formed observations. Pipoca keeps that conversation intact while the group clarifies what it means, organizes what it learns, and turns shared understanding into useful work.

Meet Pipoca

02 / WHAT IT DOES

Discuss and organize in the same place.

03 / WHY IT’S DIFFERENT

Social problems need social solutions.

SAY IT

Start unfinished

Ask the uncertain question or offer the thought that still needs other people.

SHAPE IT

Make meaning together

Reply, clarify, connect, and organize without separating the conclusion from how the group reached it.

OWN IT

Let the group govern itself

Self-host the space and let the people sharing it set its access, moderation, and community rules.

KEEP IT HUMAN

Use AI on your terms

Bring an assistant your group chooses, or use none. Technology should support the conversation, not replace it.

Read the principles

04 / SUPPORT

Paid support for people who self-host.

Pipoca is free to self-host. A support subscription adds direct technical help, assisted upgrades, migration and backup guidance, and priority bug work. If the subscription ends, your instance keeps running.
